My Story

Meet Tanisha

I was the gifted child. Who grew into the perfectionist teenager (think Rachel Berry meets Sheldon; I know, I know) and burned out as an adult. Irrespective of the environment, I was always the outsider. A metaphorical alien on an anthropological field study examining the complexities of human existence. After countless failed relationships, missed job opportunities, and meltdowns at the grocery store, I learned I was neurodivergent. With support from therapy and neurodivergent support groups I learned how to create an authentic existence by accepting and accommodating my neurodivergence.

Now, I support neurodivergent adults (primarily autistic, ADHD) and their support systems in de-constructing harmful ideologies, stereotypes, and belief systems around neurodivergence and disability. I have worked as a consultant for CAMS-Care as a suicidologist centering BIPOC/LGBTQ+ suicidality. I am currently a coach at BetterUp for neurodivergent executives and leadership. I also work at Academic Ascent as a coach/tutor for neurodivergent students.
